Understanding visibility scores and sentiment
Learn how visibility and sentiment are calculated and what good and bad scores look like.
Visibility score
Visibility is calculated as the number of unique prompt responses where your brand was mentioned, divided by the total number of responses analyzed.
What is a good score?
A visibility score above 50% is excellent — it means your brand appears in more than half of the AI responses for your tracked prompts. Below 20% suggests you have significant room to improve your AI presence.
Sentiment score
Sentiment is scored on a 0–100 scale based on how AI describes your brand. We analyze adjectives, comparisons, and context.
- 70–100 — Mostly positive language.
- 40–69 — Neutral or factual descriptions.
- 0–39 — Mixed or negative framing.
Why sentiment matters
Even brands with high visibility can have low sentiment. If AI mentions you but always in a negative comparison, that hurts your perception. Tracking both metrics together gives a complete picture.
