What happens when someone accepts an invite?
Once an invite is accepted, the new member becomes part of the workspace under the assigned role.
The acceptance flow
When someone accepts an invite, they become a workspace member under the role you selected when sending the invite.
What changes after acceptance
- The person moves from the pending invite list to the active members list.
- Their permissions are governed by their workspace role (Admin or Member).
- They can immediately start using the workspace based on their role permissions.
If you assigned the wrong role
You can change a member's role at any time after they join. Go to Dashboard → Members, click the member, and update their role.
What to verify after acceptance
- The new member appears in the correct workspace.
- Their role matches what their job actually requires.
- If they need access to multiple workspaces, invite them separately to each one.
Pending invites that expire
If someone does not accept their invite, you can resend it from the Members page. Pending invites can be revoked anytime if they are no longer needed.
