How do I interpret low visibility?

Low visibility does not always mean your brand is failing. Here is how to diagnose what is actually happening.

Low visibility is a starting point, not a verdict

A low score tells you to investigate, not that your brand is broken.

Possible reasons

  • Your prompts may be too broad, too competitive, or too far from where your brand is actually known.
  • The filters may be too narrow.
  • Competitors may have stronger source presence.
  • Your tracked prompt set may still be too small.

What to check first

See whether low visibility appears across all prompts or only within one topic, persona, model, or country. That tells you whether the problem is structural or local.

What to inspect next

Review Citations and All Sources to understand which domains are shaping the answers. Then open Chats to see how your brand is being described, if it is mentioned at all.

Best interpretation

Low visibility tells you where to look. The actual fix usually comes from one of three things: better prompts, better source presence, or better content positioning around the topics that matter.
