Why can't I invite teammates or change roles?

Member management is restricted to Admins. Here is what to check if invite controls are missing.

Most common cause: role permission

Only Admins can invite or remove members and change roles. If you are a Member, those controls will not appear.

What to check

  • Confirm your role in the workspace under Dashboard → Members.
  • If you need to manage members, ask an Admin to upgrade your role.

Other possible causes

  • You are in the wrong workspace.
  • An invite for that email already exists in the pending list.
  • The person you are trying to invite is already a member.
