What happens when I archive a prompt?
Archiving moves a prompt out of the active set without deleting it permanently.
What archiving does
Archiving moves a prompt from the active set into the inactive set. The prompt stops being tracked, but its history is preserved and you can restore it later.
Why archive instead of delete
Archive lets you remove clutter from your active tracking without losing the option to bring the prompt back. This is useful when you are not sure whether you will need a prompt again.
When to archive
- The prompt is outdated or no longer relevant to your strategy.
- It overlaps with stronger prompts that already cover the same demand.
- It produces noise instead of useful signal.
- You need to free up active capacity for higher-value prompts.
Restoring an archived prompt
Archived prompts remain in your workspace and can be reactivated at any time without rebuilding their structure (topic, persona, location, tags are all preserved).
